DiGi Communications

On March 1st 2005 DiGi Communications has moved into production with Britesoft™'s BriteAccount product. This product takes billing information from DiGi's billing system and automatically generates financial transaction from them. This is coupled with dynamically defined transaction types such as Ad-hoc charges, recurring charges, taxes, interests, penalties, payments, collections and so on, to product highly accurate invoices.

Since DiGi has started using BriteAccount, they have managed to drastically reduce the manual processes associated with invoicing, collections, disputes and reconciliation.

DiGi's Deputy General Manager for Corporate Affairs, Regulatory & Domestic Carrier Services had the following comment for BriteSoft™:

Our company is a printing house with an extended software development and internet services department.

We needed an ERP system to integrate our whole production data and management functions. Print production is very niche business so there are no off-the-shelf ERP systems that fit our requirements, as we are both a production and service company, mixing the two paradigms constantly.

That's why we needed to choose between dedicated printing industry application with lots of customization, or extending our own solutions to the next level of complexity.

Based on the fact that we already had our database schema and we knew very well how to extend it for the new ERP system, we decided to go our own way.

BriteWorks™ was exactly what we were looking for. Creating test applications took us just a few hours. Then we refined the solution according to remarks from users. All this happened online, on our production system! This is because BriteWorks™ stores all information in databases and separates production data from the application layer.

One of the other critical reasons we chose BriteWorks™ was because we wanted a flexible architecture. Our servers are Linux Suse, virtualized on a Xen cluster. In future, when we move our user client interfaces to Linux, the java clients will give us a lot of saving on Microsoft and Antivirus licenses.

Other remote workers use a browser and the BriteWorks™ AJAX web interface to perform their jobs.

We have to mention that we managed to integrate BriteWorks™ databases with RFID based data collection terminals on a shop floor. Inputting data for a worker takes only 2-3 seconds! thanks to BriteWorks™ generated orders report with barcodes.

But the most important saving in BriteWorks™ is the speed at which users are getting their solutions...

Lavand

To whom it may concern

Lavand is a purveyor of premium confectionary. Besides our HQ office, we have three retail outlets, a warehouse and a factory, which allows us to participate in the wholesale industry.

To run our business we rely almost entirely on BriteSoft™'s BriteStore application. It deals with our outlets sales, stock control, production, purchase orders, invoicing, product management, etc. The system is fully integrated with our website, where any web orders or outlet order are immediately seen on our system in HQ. It's so easy even a layperson can understand it

When we request changes, they are turned around extremely quickly due to BriteSoft™'s BriteWorks technology. We do not use the tool directly, however, we benefit from it immensely because of the speed.

We would not hesitate to recommend either BriteStore™ or BriteWorks™ to anyone.
